Motivational Sports Speaker for hire Rece Davis has been a staple of ESPN’s college sports coverage for several decades as a lead anchor on SportsCenter as well as a co-host of the College GameDay road show for college football and basketball. Rece attended the University of Alabama where he got his start in sports journalism and broadcasting while still a student at the university. After graduating, he got a job with WRBL-TV in Columbus, Georgia where he worked as a anchor and sports director for the network from 1988-1993. Before taking his job at ESPN in 1995, Rece gained even more experience in the field as a sports reporter and anchor for WJRT-TV in Flint, Michigan.

His duties at ESPN began on ESPN2 hosting programs such as SportSmash, NBA 2Night and RPM 2Night. He eventually worked his way up to anchor on the flagship program SportsCenter in addition to hosting horse racing coverage during the Triple Crown. Now he is a prominent host on College GameDay for football and basketball as well as the host of College Football Live, which airs daily throughout the season, and College Football Final.
