Sports Speakers Bureau, a motivational speaker agency, now offers NFL Analyst Speaker Phil Simms is a former NFL quarterback who now calls the shots from the color-commentating booth for CBS Sports and for NFL Network’s Thursday Night coverage of the NFL. Phil played for the New York Giants for 14 seasons from 1979-1993. The 2-time Pro Bowler and member of the New York Giants Ring of Honor knows a thing or two about winning. He led the Giants to 2 Super Bowl victories in 1987 and again in 1991. Phil famously exclaimed, “I’m going to Disney World!” after winning his first Super Bowl and the phrase has now become a huge sports catch phrase and actual TV commercial ad campaign for Disney. He was the first NFL player to appear in the ongoing string of sports championship commercials for Disney in 1987.

In that 1987 Super Bowl XXI, Phil completed an astounding 22 of 25 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns, breaking records for accuracy (88%), passer rating (150.9), and consecutive completions (10). Legendary Coach Bill Parcells was extremely impressed with his performance and called it the best performance by a quarterback he had ever seen. In 2001, Sports Illustrated magazine named Phil the Most Underrated Quarterback in NFL history.

Upon retirement in 1994, Sports speaker Phil worked with ESPN briefly before joining NBC’s #1 broadcasting team with famous announcers Dick Enberg and Paul Maguire for Super Bowl XXX and XXXII. In 1998, Phil joined CBS Sports alongside Greg Gumbel until 2003, when Gumbel was switched out replaced by Jim Nantz. Phil also hosts Inside the NFL on Showtime with distinctive voice Cris Collinsworth and James Brown. In February of 2010, Phil appeared on legendary game show The Price Is Right in a stint to promote Super Bowl XLIV. Along with broadcast partner Jim Nantz, Phil was chosen as a color-commentator featured in the Madden NFL video game starting in 2012.
