Kerri Walsh Jennings is a professional American beach volleyball player whose career with partner Misty May Treanor earned them the title of the greatest women’s volleyball duo of all time. Sports Speaker Kerri and Misty ruled the Olympics Games in the past decade winning 3 straight gold medals in 2004, 2008, and most recently at the 2012 Summer Games in London. During their 11 years of Olympic play together the duo put together 21 consecutive match wins and literally only lost 1 total set in the 3 Olympics they participated in. Outside of Olympic play the duo continued to rule the sand winning 3 consecutive FIVB World Championships in 2005, 2007 and 2009. In April of 2014, Kerri won her 47th career FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tournament giving her the most wins ever on the Tour.

Over the course of her college career at Stanford University, she was 1 of only 2 players ever to be named an All-American all 4 years and was the co-National Player of the Year in 1999. She got a taste of her first Olympic action the following year at the Summer Games in Sydney, Australia as a part of the women’s indoor volleyball team that came in 4th place that year. Soon to follow was her impressive career on the AVP and FIVB Tours and in October of 2013, Kerri won her 113 pro tournament and set the record for all time tournament wins by a beach volleyball player.

In 2014, Kerri signed on as a brand ambassador for Asics who hopes to make their presence felt in the volleyball market in the future. Her good sportsmanship, bright smile and friendly demeanor make her a great ambassador for any company and her sport and other companies such as Speedo, McDonald’s, and Visa have utilized her in TV and print marketing campaigns. Kerri is also one of a number of athletes who host their own Sirius satellite radio show on the Faction 28 channel.
