In addition to his role as host of The NFL Today and Inside the NFL, James works as a substitute anchor for the CBS Evening News since 2014.

Away from the sports desk, James has started several of his own successful businesses including JTB Communications, Brown Technology Group, and FullCircle Intermedia. James is also a founding partner of the Washington Nationals MLB team.
