After leading the Spurs to the second round of the playoffs, Robinson was unanimously named the NBA Rookie of the Year. The Spurs went on to make the playoffs seven more seasons in a row. Robinson also made the 1992 U.S. Olympic Dream Team that won the gold medal in Barcelona. Finally in the 1998-1999 season, Robinson achieved his dream of winning an NBA Title with a stacked Spurs team that went 15-2 in the playoffs. In Robinson’s final season, the Spurs won another NBA title, and Robinson shared Sports Illustrated magazine’s 2003 Sportsmen of the Year award with Tim Duncan.
