Danica Patrick is currently a race car driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driving the #10 car for fellow driver Tony Stewart’s Stewart-Haas Racing team. When she’s not participating in races she has been utilized as a model and spokeswoman for companies such as and REVO Sunglasses. She will go down in history as the first successful female race car driver in the IndyCar Series and NASCAR circuit.

As a pioneer in a sport dominated by men, Sports Speaker Danica was a stud in the IRL IndyCar Series before making it big in the popular NASCAR circuit. Her 6 year stint in the series from 2005-2011 gained her notoriety from the racing world and saw her become the first female ever to win an IndyCar Series race, winning the Indy Japan 300 in 2008. As 1 of only 4 women ever to race the Indianapolis 500, she holds the record for highest finish in the race placing 3rd in 2009. She was widely recognized as the best American driver in the IndyCar Series before making the move to drive in the NASCAR circuit. She first raced with JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series in 2010, during which she continued to drive a full IndyCar Series schedule. This also marked the first year of her well-known sponsorship with which has seen Danica participate in many print and non-print advertisements for the company.  Her 2013 season was highlighted by pole win and running a lap in the lead at the Daytona 500, making her the first female to win a Sprint Cup Series pole and lead a lap in the Daytona 500. The more she races, the more records she continues to set in a sport that has not seen many female drivers become as successful as Danica.

Danica’s talent has propelled her to be one of the most popular female athletes of today and she has appeared on several Late night shows including spots with David Letterman and Conan O’Brien. Her beauty, poise, and skill make her a marketing giant and have positioned her on the cover of Sports Illustrated and featured in the swimsuit edition multiple years. In September of 2013 she participated on Food Network’s cooking competition Chopped, and beat out several other celebrities to win the competition.
