Boris Becker is by far one the of the best international tennis players of all-time. His winning percentage throughout his entire career can vouch for his talent. From an early age Boris was able to begin honing his skills and learning the game the way he would want it to be played. The amount of practice time and support from his father led to Boris winning multiple Grand Slam titles.

Sports speaker Boris Becker is a German born tennis star. His father founded a tennis center in their hometown and this would be where Boris learned to play. Shortly after picking up a racket Boris was already competing in tournaments. By the age of 18 Boris had won at Wimbledon and up to that point was the youngest competitor to win a Grand Slam Tournament. He was also the only unseeded player to win the tournament along with being the first German. Boris has since then defended his titles against some of the greats including Ivan Lendi and has played against John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, and Michael Stich. During his career Boris won 6 Grand Slam Singles Titles, and 4 indoor tournament titles, and a gold medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in the doubles competition. He has been the coach of Novak Djokovic since January 2014. Djokovic won Wimbledon in 2014 and to date has won 7 Grand Slam Singles titles, one while being coached by Boris. Djokovic has held the No. 1 spot in the world for a rousing 102 consecutive weeks.

After retiring from tennis Boris dabbled in other forms of entertainment and media. He currently owns a tennis racket and apparel manufacturing company. In 2003 Boris published an autobiography which can be translated into English as The Player. His first television event off of the tennis court came when he had a guest appearance on BBC’s Top Gear.
